Elder Scrolls Online Classes And Races – Learn more about the Breton race in The Elder Scrolls Online. Each ESO race comes with its own unique passives. What do the Bretons offer?
The Bretonnians are part of the Daggerfall Covenant faction in The Elder Scrolls Online. This faction was created by a pack between the peoples of northwestern Tamriel that includes Bretons, Redguards, and Orcs. The symbol of the Daggerfall covenant is a lion. The colors of the Covenant are blue and silver.

Lore says that the areas of High Rock, the Kingdom of Orsinium, and the Sentinel Kingdom developed this alliance to use their military to secure lucrative trade routes. Players who choose this faction will start in Stross M’Kai after escaping from Coldharbour.

Hailing from High Rock, the human men and women were once ruled by the high elves. In fact, some elven bloodlines are said to exist in modern Bretons. This unique characteristic gives them an innate understanding of magic that sets them apart from other human races. The Bretons were once known as the Manmeri.
Bretons are considered intelligent, resourceful, passionate, and sometimes flamboyant. Bretons are often renowned artisans, gallant cavaliers, shrewd merchants and inventive sorcerers. They can also be proud and argumentative.
Lore tells us that the Bretonnians are known for abstract thinking and are quick to grasp all things magical, including spells, charms, and alchemy. The Breton race also boasts a high resistance to destructive and dominating magical energies.
Bretons are mostly pale-skinned and thin people, much less muscular than Nords or Redguards. As a race, the Bretons are politically divided, but united by language, bardic traditions, and the sharing of heroic tales. Many call them half-breeds because of their mixed heritage.

It’s here! The Lost Depths DLC is ready for PC/Mac and Stadia. What does Lost Depths and Update 35 bring to ESO? Here’s an overview. The first step on your path to greatness, character creation plays a huge role in your journey. Choosing the right class and character will help you enjoy your Elder Scrolls Online experience. A true hero must not only be able to wield a weapon against his enemies, but also look like someone from legend.
The first two choices are your character’s gender (male or female) and the sound of their voice. There are eight voice options for different gender and race combinations, so be sure to find one that suits you.
When choosing a race, it’s also important to consider the faction you want to join. There are currently three in the game. Certain races will start off tied to certain factions, unless you’ve purchased the Imperial Edition of Elder Scrolls Online, and the option to change won’t come for a while. If you and a group of friends want to play together from the very beginning of the game, everyone should discuss which faction they want before hand.
Comparing Racial Passives
As with any Elder Scrolls game, the first step is to choose from the many Races available to you. If you play the standard version, 9 will be available. Adventurers who have purchased the Imperial Edition will be able to play the 10th race, Imperial. A quick overview is below, but more detailed information on each race can be found here.
After you have determined the race you want, you can now choose a class. For some people it might be best to think about what class they want before choosing a race. You can jump around the creation process at will, so if you’re not sure what race you want, choose a class first, and then that will help you narrow down the best race choice. A brief overview of each class is below, but for full details, head over to their dedicated pages here.
The Elder Scrolls has never lacked for customization, and ESO is no different. In fact, it’s even more than before. Players can shape their character’s appearance through many separate options. The first is body type, which gives you sliders to balance musculature, size, and thinness.
The second tab deals with the body itself, ranging from height, skin color, markings, different sizes of body parts, and more.

The head gets the same detail treatment as the body, allowing you to move the facial structure between heroic, soft and angular features. Along with it, and on the next tab, come things like age, adornment (facial hair and trinkets), hairstyle, color, forehead tilt, and more.
The last of the cards deals with the face itself, such as the eyes, nose and mouth. Along with everything else, the character customizer allows you to create the perfect character.

You’ve paid for your copy of Elder Scrolls Online, installed the game and created your account, but now what? Which class do you choose? Is the cat-like Khajiit the right breed for you? We’ve put together a quick guide for players just getting started in the new world of Tamriel Online.
So it’s time to unleash your soulless hero or villain on the world of Tamriel. But what kind of character are you creating? Orc Templar? Khajit Sorcerer? Admit it, you’re amazed. Let’s break it down.
Dragon Knight – These are your basic fighters, with the added bonus of using fire magic. If you’ve messed around with Death Knights in World of Warcraft, you have an idea of what to expect here.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr Preview: Imagine Dragons
Wizard – This class is the primary magic-using class in Elder Scrolls Online. In other titles, the Sorcerer is called a Mage, Warlock, Warlock, or Necromancer.
Templar – A Templar is a warrior who uses Holy Magic to slay enemies or heal allies. It is equivalent to the Paladin class in most other games.
The Elder Scrolls is a bit different from most MMOs in that classes are general guidelines as opposed to being hard-locked. If you put points into the right skills, your Templar can be a healer rather than a tank. Your Dragon Knight can primarily be a magic user. It’s all about having a solid idea of where you want to go and getting the right skills to get there.
Those who pre-order Elder Scrolls Online have the option of choosing any race/alliance combination, while those who are late will be stuck within the set of factions listed below. Outside of access to the starting area, choice only matters when it comes to PVP. If you’re playing with friends, you’ll want to stay in the same alliance. Otherwise, you can change alliances later in the game, something I wish was available in other faction-based MMOs.
Character Creation And Customization Elder Scrolls
Each race has different racial skills. These skills are available from the start, but outside of the first skill they do nothing for your character unless you spend skill points to unlock and upgrade them. Each unlockable skill has three levels. If you choose a Breton for the sweet gift of Magnus passive skill and never spend a skill point on the ability, it does nothing. This means that while race can help you build a specific character, it’s not the end-all, be-all. Here is a
