CVCC calls this specific assignment the Mandatory Course Enrollment Quiz, or MCEQ for short.

Cvcc Online Classes

Students MUST complete the quiz on or before Census Day. Students may not enter the course – i.e. receive a “P” in Self Service Attendance (the new “E”) – after the census date. This is STATE policy. Students may not take the MCEQ after the census date.

Cvcc Exploratory Technology

Please be sure to set the MCEQ end date to 11:59pm on the day of the census on Blackboard to prevent students from trying to enter after the census date. The MCEQ may NOT be available to students prior to the first day of class. The quiz should only be available from the first day of school until midnight on census day.

If you need help creating an MCEQ for your course, watch this video or email the HelpDesk at *email protected* to get in touch with a member of the Educational Technology Department.

Once your course census date has passed, you must submit your MCEQ trial statistics to the FTE technician. The following steps demonstrate how to generate experimental statistics in Blackboard.

If you are sending your trial statistics by interoffice mail, select the printer you want to print on and address the interoffice envelope to Anna Fredell, FTE Technician.
