It will be played from March 10 to 26 by Calendar Girls. As Annie and Chris work to raise money to support cancer caregivers, their half-naked calendar venture teaches these “models of a certain age” that friendship never gets old.
The season on the main stage ends with the musical La Cage aux Folles, which runs from April 28 to May 21. George and Albin, two men in partnership for 20 years, are surprised when George’s son announces his engagement to the daughter of a fanatical politician. The situation is complicated by the family business: a night club where Albin is the star. Georges agrees to masquerade as “normal” in order to meet his new in-laws, but Albin has other plans – with hilarious results.
The 2022-2023 season also heralds the return of the Kids & Family series with two productions: The Girl Who Swallowed a Cactus and The Giver, as well as the ever-popular 19th Annual 10-Minute Play Festival featuring new works. Concerts, including an all-new “Songbook Live!” show as well as community celebrations of the 70th season round out the year.
